Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, intends to enter into a sole-source contract with Tualatin River Watershed Council, PO Box 338, Hillsboro, OR 97123-0338, telephone (503) 846-4810. The contract will be for habitat enhancement and restoration projects for the Tualatin River Watershed. The Council was created in 1993 to coordinate resource planning for the Tualatin River Project. They are an advisory body working closely with stakeholders such as citizens, agriculture, business, industry, environmental, forestry, education, local governments, and water and sewer providers. Because of these relationships that are already established and the Tualatin River Watershed Council's mission, we believe they are uniquely qualified for this requirement; and do not believe anyone else could provide these same services at a fair and reasonable price. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries will be accepted by FAX at 208-378-5108, attention Sue Fraser, PN-3706, or by email to sfraser@pn.usbr.gov.
