- This is a Request for Information (RFI). HQ AMC/A3YAS is preparing to acquire rotary wing air transportation services for the Navy for air transportation of 15-passengers and baggage from/to airfields within the vicinity of Hampton Roads, VA and Washington, DC. Such services shall be supplied 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with a 24-hour notice to fly on the weekend and holidays, if required. We are required to conduct market research as part of acquisition planning. The information obtained from market research will help us arrive at the most suitable approach to acquire the services: 1) DESCRIBE AVAILABLE AIRCRAFT: ___________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________ 2) ARE YOUR AIRCRAFT CAPABLE OF LANDING AND TAKING-OFF ON PREPARED AND UNPREPARED SURFACES? ___________. If so, is there adequate lighting and electrical outlets to enable operation of laptop computers? __________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________ 17) Is it standard commercial practice to have an audio control system that can provide for selecting the radio ICS and comm. System between cabin occupants and pilots? _________________________________________________________________________ 18) Do any of your pilots hold current Secret clearances?_______________________________ This agency has not made a final commitment to procure the stated requirement and this RFI should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. This agency is interested in obtaining responses to this RFI from prospective contractors, but no contractor shall be reimbursed for providing this information; therefore, the Air Force will accept the requested information in whatever format it is provided. All information provided by the contractor will become property of the Air Force and will not be returned.
