- Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued (ii) RFQ-8462-4-0013, this solicitation, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and one award will be made on a fixed-price basis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14, Effective 23 Jun 03. (iv) This is a total small business concern set aside under NAICS Code ? 424910, Seeds wholesaling. The small business size standard for this NAICS Code is set at 500 employees or less. (v) Bid Item: Seed Mix made up of Thickspike Wheatgrass (Elymus lanceolatus) Critana Native 2 lbs/acre, Indian Rice Grass (Orhyzopsis hymenoides) Rimrock Native 2 lbs/acre, Bluebunch Wheatgrass (Agropyron spicates) Goldar Native 2 lbs/acre, Slender Wheatgrass (Agropyron trachycalum) Natvie 2 lbs/acre, Western Yarrow (Achillea millefoium) Native 1.5 lbs/acre, Mountain Brome (Broumus carinatus) Native 5 lbs/acre, Mountain Lupine (Lupinus alpestris) Native .50 lbs/acre. There will be a total of 15.00 PLS/Acre. Please bid all seed mixed based on Pure Live Seed pounds. Seed must be certified noxious weed free. Seed must be provided in 50 pound sacks. Sacks must be individually tagged. Clear all cultivar or substitutions before mixing. Quantity: 14,250; Unit of Issue: LB. Bid mix based upon 950 Acres at 15.0 PLS Pounds per acre. (vi) Desired delivery date for this requirement is 30 days from purchase. FOB POINT: Dixie National Forest, Powell Ranger District, 225 East Center Street, Panguitch, UT 84759, Attn: Evan Boshell. (vii) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (viii) The offeror meeting the requirements of the solicitation and having the lowest aggregate price will be awarded the purchase order.
