Description

DESCRIPTION: This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport RI intends to award a sole source contract to Northrup Grumman Information Technology, Inc. under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Only One Responsible Source for the upgrade of Global Command & Control Systems- Maritime (GCCS-M) for Over the Horizon Processing for all combat systems. Northrup Grumman is the developer of the COE and GCCS?M application software and is the only source with the required understanding of the applications necessary to accomplish this work. A five-year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is planned. Any challenges to this sole source action should be brought to the attention of the Contracting Officer. This procurement is a follow on to NUWCDIVNPT contract N66604-01-C-3828 with Northrup Grumman. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
