Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supervision, equipment, materials and operators necessary to perform Project HHEK 97 0009B,C,D,E, entitled Renovate Distinguished Visitor Quarters (DVQ) at Fort Mac Arthur, San Pedro, CA for Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA in accordance with contract terms, conditions, plans, and specifications. Project has base approval. All work performed will be in an unrestricted area. The contract period of performance is estimated at a total of 160 days, which is negotiable. The NAICS classification is 236118 and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. STATEMENT OF MAGNITUDE: This project will be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. NOTICE TO PROCEED: The notice to proceed will be issued at the Pre-Performance Conference. TELEGRAPHIC OFFERS AND FAXED OFFERS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED. NOTICE: Offer revisions and/or amendments to offers are NOT AUTHORIZED. NOTICE: Include Contractor Cage Code and Establishment Code in Block 14 of SF 1442. NOTICE: FAR Clause 52.232-27, Prompt Payment for Construction is included in this solicitation. NOTICE: This requirement will be competed as an unrestricted, full and open competition. The solicitation will be evaluated using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT), with Past Performance being significantly more important than Price, to obtain the best value for the government. Project solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be made available only on the internet at https://www.eps.gov on or about July 2, 2004. The solicitation number, FA2816-04-R-0011, will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). A site visit is scheduled on or about July 9, 2004, at DVQ 15, Fort Mac Arthur. The actual date and time will be included in the solicitation. All interested parties must e-mail their RSVP to Dorian Gomez no later than July 7, 2004, 4:00 pm. Contractors who are unable to gain access to on base must bring their valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and registration to obtain their pass. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of active registration in the CCR database will make a bidder ineligible for award.
