Description

Notice is hereby given to the public of the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA) solicited offers to lease approximately 62,901 rentable square feet to satisfy the space requirements of the U.S. Department of Education in New York, New York. Under consideration is the Office Building to located at 32 Old Slip, New York, New York; said site is situated in a 100-year flood plain. This site is being considered due to lack of alternative sites. There are no practicable alternatives within the Government's delineated area specified in Solicitation For Offers No. 3NY0042. Since this office building is currently in use, this leasing action will have no adverse effect on the current status of the flood plain. This public notice is being issues in compliance with applicable Federal Government regulations and at least 15 days prior to the execution of the lease. Public comment is invited and interested parties may obtain more detailed information or questions should be directed to Scott Elgart, GSA Realty Specialist at (212) 264-4200 or at scott.elgart@gsa.gov. Comments about this project should be submitted within fifteen days of this notice.
