- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, 820 Chandler Street, Fort Detrick, MD intends to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE procurement with Medaire, Inc. for support of a study of Global Medical Response Systems to analyze and evaluate current met hods for navigating and managing information and communications between remotely located personnel and rear-based medically-related resources. Subject matter expertise is necessary across multiple domains (doctrine, architecture, policy, acquisition, heal th care delivery, infrastructure and logistics) as it relates to telehealth, and direct experience in the design and implementation of telehealth systems. This is a SOLE SOURCE procurement under the authority of FAR 6.203-1 and is not a request for compet itive quotes. However, responses received from other responsible businesses prior to close of business on 8 June 2004 will be evaluated. Offerors responding to this notice must provide proof that they can provide the requested services.
