Description

The Department of Homeland Security intends to issue a firm fixed price sole source contract to the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), a non profit international organization, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 ? (1). NDIA and its predecessor organizations, the American Defense Preparedness Association (ADPA) and the National Security Industrial Association (NSIA) brings over sixty years experience in planning, organizing, and hosting events in the areas or scientific, technical, and professional requirements relevant to the mission of DHS. NDIA represents a broad array of large and small defense industry vendors that are critical to the development of technologies sought by the Department?s Science and Technology Directorate. NDIA?s intimate knowledge of the homeland security and defense technology communities, from both the practitioner and vendor point of view, uniquely qualifies them with the ability to solicit speakers, manage agendas, and facilitate focus groups with its cadre of subject matter experts. NDIA maintains a significant and diverse database of both defense and homeland security vendors and subject matter experts and brings the highest best practice techniques necessary for DHS to communicate its delivery of future technology needs and requirements.
