Description
Question and Answers Global Broadcast RFP 1. Question: Can you elaborate what is mean by "demonstrate knowledge of broadcast skills, including terminals?? Answer: Contractor demonstrate by individuals and/or organization that they possess broadcasting knowledge. This knowledge includes frequency management, technical knowledge of broadcasting systems, and general operating knowledge of broadcast systems, to include ability to correct broadcasting interruptions. 2. Question: Can you define what is meant by terminals? Answer: Terminals include the number of terminals (transmission facilities) owned, operated or partnered with. In addition to the numbers and locations, contractor demonstrate that each site is independently and capable of conducting operations to include repair of systems and technical means to overcome transmission interruptions. 3. Question: What sort of broadcasting skills one must demonstrate? Answer: Stress technical qualifications and capabilities . Expect to have a flexible and practical approach to broadcasting operations, including the ability to adapt formats for specific operational requirements. 4. Question: What is meant by ?Upon receipt of products for transmission the contractor shall disseminate information within one (1) hour.? Answer: While broadcasting message traffic at a said location and frequency, an altered (modified) message is receive for broadcasting at same location and frequency; the contractor will disseminate the new message within one (1) hour.
