Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) National Center for Patient Safety (NCPS), Ann Arbor, Michigan, has a need for Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software or non-developmental software to extract information embedded in natural language text from root cause analyses (RCA) reports stored in NCPS SQL 2000 Server databases from PC?s utilizing Window 2000 operation systems. Period of Performance shall be a Base Year with one (1) renewal option. The NAICS is 423430 and size standard is 500. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the government. Contractors are responsible for obtaining a copy of all documents (solicitation and amendments) via the website: http://www.va.gov/oa&mms/busopp/sol.htm. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5.
