- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services at the Federal Correctional Institution, Federal Prison Camp, and Federal Detention Center in Sheridan, Oregon. It is the intent of the Government to make a single award to an offeror who can provide all deliverables, to include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and on-site physician services. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The contract type is a indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four subsequent 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year: 300 inpatient days and 225 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 - 321 inpatient days and 240 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 - 328 inpatient days and 256 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 - 348 inpatient days and 273 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 - 372 inpatient days and 292 outpatient visits. Due to the volume of of information , quantities for outpatient institution services will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 7, 2004 and will be distrubuted solely through this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as this site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site; therefore, interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date of receipt of proposals is on or about July 30, 2004. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal for consideration.
