Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified HUBZone small business firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment transportation and supervision required for modified bitumen roof at the USCG Yard Baltimore, MD. Work shall be performed on a 4-ply built-up roof underlain by glass fiber insulation and metal roof deck. The required work includes: infrared inspection and/or core cuts to assess whether there is wet insulation, removal of wet insulation and the overlying built-up roof and replacement of the insulation, if needed, replacement of existing skylights with new skylights, replacement of the existing gutters with new gutters, removal and replacement of the existing vents, and installation of a modified bitumen cover layer underlain by a modified bitumen base sheet. Experience: The manufacturer shall have a minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing of modified bitumen roofing products. The installer shall have a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing of modified bitumen roofing products, and shall have managed and constructed at least three similar projects in the last 5 years. The contractor must perform a minimum of 30% of the work with its own workforce. The NAICS for this project is 238160 with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.0M. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland (Attn: Ms. Komer) no later than COB 05/26/04.
