- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish the necessary qualified technical personnel, materials, supplies, facilities and equipment to perform the inspection, compliance testing and reporting services to determine conformance with the performance requirements of FMVSS No. 116, "Motor Vehicle Brake Fluids." The Government will furnish Government Furnished Test Items (GFTI). In order to be considered for award, bidders shall have a fully operational test facility capable of meeting all the testing requirements of TP-116-03, dated March 12, 1993. In addition, the Government may require a demonstration test at the bidder?s expense using the same facilities, techniques and personnel that the bidder proposes to use in the performance of this award. Subcontracting will not be permitted under this Contract. Manufacturers of vehicles and/or components to be tested are not eligible for award of this Contract. The anticipated period of performance is twenty-four (24) months with two (2) additional twenty-four (24) month option periods. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The internet site, or URL, for the FedBizOpps page is www.fedbizOpps.gov or www.epsw.gov. The anticipated issuance date is June 14, 2004. However, it is the Offeror?s sole responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will also be solely responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any), and any other related documents.
