Description: The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Organization at Fort Lewis, WA is soliciting for a contractor to manufacture and deliver 30 precast exposed aggregate planters with the dimensions 72 inches length x 22 inches height x 22 inches width. These pl anters shall be constructed of standard-mix concrete with air entrainment and fibers, and shall have rebar cage for reinforcement and strength. Each planter shall also have cast-in forklift slots. This shall be a firm fixed-price type contract. This requir ement shall be 100% set aside for small-business (SB)concerns. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including but not limited to: an individual, partnership, corporation, joint ventur e, association, or cooperative. The size standard for any concern, including its affiliates is 500 employees. NAICS: 327390, FSC 9390. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be accepted.
