- Responsible Sources Sought for Adventure Camp This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for an upcoming competitive acquisition to provide the United States Air Force Academy with a one-week parent/child outdoor adventure camp. Contractor will provide an all-day camp schedule to begin on a Sunday and end on the following Sunday for 25 youth, ages 12 to 14, plus one of each youth's parents. An all day camp schedule shall begin on Sunday evening and end in the morning of the following Sunday. Camp will be conducted 27 June to 4 July 2004, due to available time when participants can attend. Cabins or campground area where participants will be bunked must be located within 10 miles of the US Air Force Academy. Contractor will provide in the all-day camp schedule; providing a program focused on creating a bonding experience for families through participation in various outdoor and indoor activities, conducting workshops designed for parents and young teens to develop their relationships and communication, and leading recreational activities that provide youth and adults alike with physically and mentally challenging high-risk activities. Contractor will provide all equipment and supervision for acquaintance games, low ropes course, high ropes course, orienteering, recreational swimming, softball kickback, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, rock climbing, craft activities, empowerment workshop, and family management workshop. Contractor will provide clean and comfortable lodging on site to fully accommodate 25 youth and 35 adult participants for 7 nights. Complete bed linen will also be provided; pillows, pillow cases, sheets, and blankets. Contractor will provide all meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner beginning with Sunday dinner and ending with breakfast on the following Sunday. The NAICS is 721214 and the SIC is 7032. This notice is designed to locate responsible sources who have an interest, and have the ability to supply the items/services as described herein.
