Description

Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment and manpower for towing and miscellaneous wrecker "road" service to designated vehicles that are determined to be in need of such service by the United States Park Police and are (a) NPS property (owned or leased from GSA), and (b) United States Park Police property (owned or leased from GSA), and (c) private property (general public individually or commercially owned or leased). The contractor shall provide the service within NPS jurisdiction 24 hours a day, seven days a week. District of Columbia: within all the district including Columbia Island on the George Washington Memorial Parkway. Virginia Region: All of George Washington Memorial Parkway (except Columbia Island), including counties of Fairfax, Loudon, Prince William, Stafford and the City of Alexandria. Maryland Region: The Baltimore-Washington Parkway, Clara Barton Parkway, the Maryland portion of the Suitland Parkway, including the counties of Prince Georges, Charles, Ann Arundel and Montgomery. This solicitation will be available only electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center website at: http//ideasec.nbc.gov and will be available O/A May 14, 2004. PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE MADE AVAIABLE. Responsible offers will be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy with the manual authorization signature of the company. Facsimile offers will not be accepted. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at anytime. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. End of announcement.
