Contracting office address SAFB Description Contractor shall become familiar with site conditions prior to performing work. All the work shall be performed in strict compliance with the manufacturer?s installation instructions and IAW Air Force Technical Order 35E1-2-13-1 and the National Electric Code. Contractor shall perform the following work on ignition system at AFTF (Aircraft Fire Training Facilities): (1) Full overhaul of electric ignition system including replacement of all switches. (2) Install new control panel to replace single switches. (3) Label all control switches and lights on panel. (4) Add weatherproof cover to control panel for protection from elements. (5) Repair/replace faulty igniters as required (6) Remove old regulators and install AFCESA approved piping. (7) Repair/replace electrical conduit and wiring as required. (8) Electrical and mechanical testing at completion of work. Work and materials shall comply with this Statement of Work and the editions in effect at the time of his solicitation for all applicable criteria, regulations, guidelines and codes, all of which are made a part thereof. Performance period is 10 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation is being issued for FULL and OPEN competition. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 238210 with a size standard of $12 million dollars. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract.
