- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is seeking contractors to provide (1) field validation condition assessments to evaluate existing conditions and determine proposed corrective measures with associated cost estimates for all existing and new backlog deficiencies including ADA; (2) field validation to identify and verify building and site/infrastructure inventory items; (3) field inventory validation on new space not currently in the BIA inventory to identify and verify inventory items. The survey will include schools, offices, cafeterias, multi-purpose buildings, gymnasiums, auditoriums, libraries, dormitories, shops, warehouses, detention facilities (juvenile and adult), courts and housing units at selected BIA schools, Agencies and Law Enforcement sites within the continental United States, except Alaska. The estimated square foot of validation for condition assessments and inventory is approximately 9,010,000 annually. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract. The contract may have a minimum value of $500,000.00 and the sum of all delivery orders issued under each contract shall not exceed $5,000,000.00 annually. Duration of the contract will be for one-year with two, one year option periods. Work will be authorized by issuance of delivery orders. NAICS code 541350 is applicable to this solicitation. Firms seeking consideration for award shall have demonstrated professional qualifications and capabilities for the performance of the following services: Condition Assessments, Inventory Validations, Cost Estimating. Potential firms will be evaluated based on 1) Cost; and 2) Capability based on record of past performance. Qualified firms meeting the requirements listed and having the capability and capacity to perform services described in this announcement are invited to respond by submitting a written request to the procurement office listed within thirty (30) calendar days from date of this notice.
