- Description
- The 21st Contracting Squadron (21 CONS) at Peterson AFB is conducting the solicitation and award of the CAASETA (Contract Advisory and Assistance Services and Engineering and Technical Services) services. The purpose of the contract is to provide Headquarters (HQ) Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) directorates with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) and Engineering and Technical Assistance. This contract will provide technical and analytical tools, support or improve policy development, management, and administration, and improve the operation of systems supporting the AFSPC Mission. The solicitation number for this acquisition will be F05604-03-R-0007. The RFP and all associated documents when issued will be posted on the required Government wide point of entry for business opportunities. The Internet address is http:// www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation should be posted on or about 21 May 2004. The past performance volumes will be due on or about 7 June 2004 at 1400, Mountain Standard Time (MST). All other volumes will be due on or about 21 June 2004, at 1400 MST. Refer to the solicitation for exact timelines. Offerors are encouraged to subscribe/register for this solicitation number through Fed Biz Opps to ensure they automatically receive all documents associated with the procurement in a timely manner. Agency source selection procedures from FAR part 15 and supplements will be used for this best value acquisition. The Government intends to award up to four contracts with 5-year ordering periods. This is a Full and Open Competition; however, the Air Force intends to award a minimum of two contracts to small businesses. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 54170, R&D in the Physical Engineering and Life Sciences, size standard 1,000 employees.
