Description
The United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific,Alameda, CA, proposes to contract a DOCKSIDE REPAIR of the SSDG Vibration Mount Renewal on the USCGC CHASE (WHEC 718), a 378? high endurance cutter, homeported in San Diego, CA. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. All work shall be performed at the cutter?s home moorage in San Diego, CA during the period of 18 May 2004 through 04 June 2004. Work item to include: SSDG vibration mount renewal. The Request for Quotation will be issued on or after 10 May 2004. Potential offerors are advised to arrange a ship check by contacting the Point of Contact, CWO Anthel Barnes, of the USCGC CHASE at (619) 556-6403. Potential offerors are advised that the solicitation, and other notifications can also be accessed on the web site: www.eps.gov. Specifications for this requirement will be available with the Request for Quotation. All responsive sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered by this agency. For Women-Owned and Disadvantage Business Enterprises, the Department of Transportation (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantage Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
