- Description
- The United States Postal Service is seeking suppliers to provide an award for a national indefinite quantity pricing agreement to supply, install, service, maintain and warrant Closed Circuit Video Surveillance (CCTV) systems. The products required for various USPS facilities may include but are not limited to: video capture devices (including fixed and remotely positionable cameras and other specialty video sensors), digital video recording devices (embedded, PC based, and enterprise capacity as well as DVD burners and hard drive sub-systems), signal transmission devices (unshielded twisted pair, fiber-optic, TCP/IP, wireless), monitors (CRT, LCD, Plasma, DLP, LCOS), video signal control and routing devices (matrix switching systems, controllers, multiplexers, computer-based interfaces) and other ancillary and accessory devices (housings, mounts, lenses, power supplies, cable, racks, consoles, and cabinetry). The CCTV Video Equipment to be provided must be from a company regularly in the business of designing manufacturing and supporting such equipment and having been in this business, either directly or through acquisition, for a minimum of five ( 5 ) years. Manufactured equipment must have been installed in a minimum of fifty (50) facilities (as defined in the Qualification Statement). This is a National Contract that requires the Suppliers representatives and agents to be formally trained and certified in the products under consideration. Prospective Suppliers must provide information on established infrastructure to provide, install, and support all equipment, including existing and proposed personnel who will be specifically dedicated to supporting such an agreement. Prequalification statement will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria: Experience and references ( 25 %), support infrastructure (25%), product line (25%), manufacturing/assembly of product within the US (20%) , experience with prior Postal Service contracts (5% ). Only pre-qualified suppliers will be issue a Request for Proposal. Award of this pricing agreement will be based on a Best Value determination that takes into consideration technical and price factors.
