Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition (Reference FAR Part 12 and 13). The required assets are three submersible hydromatic pumps. Pentair Pump Group manufactures these pumps. This is a brand name procurement. The first pumps part number is S4LX4000DC. This pump is a dry pit sewage pump with 50 foot dual cord, lower T-C seal, water jacket, 4? x 6?, explosion proof, 11.38? impeller, 40 hp 1750 rpm, 208v, 3ph, 60hz. A quantity of one each is required. The second pumps part number is S4LX4000FC. This is a dry pit sewage pump, 50 foot dual cord, lower T-C seal, water jacket, 4? x 6? explosion proof, 11.38? impeller, 40 hp, 1750 rpm, 460 v, 3 ph, 60 hz. A quantity of two each is required. These pumps will be delivered to the Transportation Officer, FE2520, 1201 Edward H White II Street, Patrick AFB, Florida 32925-3237. The proposed delivery schedule is 30 days after award of a contract. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0148 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3561, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333911. All current GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 5 May 2004 at www.eps.gov . Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Anticipated award date will be on or around 14 May 2004.
