Description

This synopsis is modified to increase the quantity from 100 ea. to 115 ea. ***ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO AMSAM-AC-LS-MB, BETTY BOYD, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, 256-876-7289. E-MAIL ( betty.boyd@redstone.army.mil ). ***TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED*** System: PATRIOT, PRON: D1386409, Nomenclature: Modem, Communication, NSN: 5895-01-064-1873, PN: 11511023, for a quantity of 100. Destination to be furnished. A quantity of (1) one, Contractor Tested First Article required. Delivery schedule, 155 day s after contract award, submission and acceptance of test report. This requirement is for a Life of Type Buy. Offerors must be approved and qualified. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient doc umentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, are not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government i ntends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources.
