Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Simon & Schuster Inc., 1230 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10020-1513, for the following book: Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order, ISBN 0684844419 for 1300 copies. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified publications and quantities, they must respond to this notice before 1500hrs (Central Time) on 4 May 2004. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Simon & Schuster Inc. will be pursued.
