- Description
- The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified contractors listed below for replacement of approximately two acres of asphalt paving with concrete at the Anaheim P&DC in Anaheim CA. The project will be accomplished in phases. Each phase must be completed before the next phase can begin. Work will not be allowed between November 15, 2004 and January 15, 2004. Postal operations at the facility are 24 hours per day, and access to the facility and parking areas is not to be blocked without prior approval. The work is to be completed in 210 days after notice to proceed. Estimated range is $800,000-$1,000,000. This is an owned facility. The proposal must contain the offeror?s overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract will be 11%. Offers will not be publicly opened. All proposal information will remain confidential until award. No additions will be made to the list of prequalified firms for this project. Subcontractors must contact the prequalified firms for copies of the solicitation.
