Description
The government intends to award a FFP purchase order for sporting officials. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial procedures IAW the FAR part 12. The period of performance will be 7 May 2004 through 30 April 2005. All contractors su bmitting any proposals to the government must have a cage code and be registered in the CCR. All proposals are due to be received in the contracting office by COD by 3 May 2004. In order to be considered, respondents must submit clear and convincing docume ntation of their capability within the time specified. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, it does not restrict the governments utlimate approach nor does it obligate the government to pay for any preparation cost. Require two (2) basketball or soccer officials to officiate Games for fifth grade or higher . 2. Require one (1) basketball or soccer official to officiate fourth grade and under games. 3. All Officials must be active members in good standing of an officials organization for the respective sport they are asked to officiate. 4. All officials must be willing to accept payment for their services some time after the last home game. 5. Officials must understand that they will not be paid if the game they were assigned to officiate is cancelled, and they receive a minimum of 1 day advance notice of the cancellation. In the event of inclement weather on the day of the game, Youth Services will be able to cancel on the same day of the game, and not be r equired to make payment. 6. Youth Services will not pay officials that fail to show up for an assigned game. 7. COR will provide schedule of games to the contractor prior to the start of each season.
