Description

NA The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration seeks to solicit quotes under Solicitation No. RFQ 786-171-04 for the following services: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material and supplies necessary for general arboreal maintenance of trees to include pruning, cabling and complete tree removal at Port Hudson National Cemetery, 20978 Port Hickey Road, Zachary, LA 70791. The period of performance is 120 days from date of award. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of the contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The designated NAICS code is 561730. The size standard is $6 million. Requests for a hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests should be addressed to Marybeth Olexy, Contract Specialist, Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (41D3), 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Requests for a hard copy must be accompanied by a cashier?s check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable), payable to ?Department of Veterans Affairs.? Please reference solicitation no. RFQ 786-171-04 on remittance. Hard copy solicitations will be available on or about May 12, 2004, via ordinary mail.
