- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSCG81-04-Q-S7357R, is issued as an unrestricted request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 1: Lodging; 5 Double-Occupancy Accomodations with 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bath, in one location, for 151 days, from May 10, 2004 (check in day) through October 01, 2004 (check out day). Accomodations shall be furnished with linens, housekeeping, local telephone, cable T.V. services, parking, on-site laundry facility, and fitness center. The geographic location for consideration is limited to 20 miles East/Southeast of the U. S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Office (MSO) Houston/Galveston located at 9640 Clinton Drive, Houston,TX 77029. Proposals shall include the address and distance (mileage) of the lodging facility to MSO Houston/Galveston. Proposals shall also include all available amenities, checkin and checkout times and cancellation policy before and during occupancy. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government, price, quality and other factors considered. OFFERS will only be considered from Offerors who ARE COMPLIANT WITH THE HOTEL AND MOTEL FIRE SAFETY ACT OF 1990. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE THE LODGING FACILITY FEMA NUMBER, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE U. S. FIRE ADMINISTRATION. All offers will be evaluated in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures, FAR Subpart 13.106. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items (March 2001) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), apply to this solicitation. The provision of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2001), shall be completed and submitted with the RFQ. PLEASE READ, COMPLETE AND PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION IN THIS SOLICITATION AND PROVISIONS OF ALL CITED FAR CLAUSES. Quotes are due no later than April 28, 2004, 12:00 noon EST, at Commander, U. S.
