Description

Contractor to provide the necessary labor, materials, equipment, travel and per diem to inspect forty-four high pressure boilers (15 psi or greater steam pressure) twice yearly. Type A inspections include internal/external and Type C is external und er steam. The contractor shall be deemed acceptable, competent and qualified to perform boiler inspections under resultant order by providing evidence of the contractor's accreditation by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors as an A uthorized Inspection Agency for Inservice Inspection Activities. Inspection will be performed at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK. Base year contract award date through 31 Dec 2004 with four option years. This will be a firm fixed price co ntract. All contractors who provide services to DoD must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. You may register via the internet at www.ccr.gov. Approx issue date 21 Apr 2004 and closing date approx 26 Apr 2004. The solicitation will be issued via the internet at https://acquisition.army.mil. Any changes to the solicitation will also be posted to this web site and is the contractor's responsibility to check this site daily for any posted changes.
