Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-04-T-0106. Requirement is for Audio-Visual Equipment for the Government of Romania. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement, FMS Case RO-B-UAU; purchase request USASAC4086X025. CLIN 0001, P/N MC-8600U, Jukebox 600 DVD/CD, compatible with MS Windows 2000 XP operating system, each jukebox will be available to 20 users, with the possibility of increase over the next 2 to 5 years, 5 EA. CLIN 0002, Model HR-5880AM, Multi-system S-VHS/VCR, 10 EA. CLIN 0003, Model AV-29RX, 29-inch Flat Screen Multi-System TV, 10 EA. CLIN 0004, Model DS-TP670DVD, Multi-Mode DVD Player, 10 EA. CLIN 0005, Model MX-WMD90, Mini System 3+1 Mini Disc Recorder/Player, 10 EA. CLIN 0006, Model SC-AK77GC, Stereo Audio System with Head Phones, 10 EA. This requirement is brand name or equal. Vendors may quote equivalent substitutes but must provide descriptive literature with their quote sufficient to demonstrate that proposed equipment is equal. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Origin. Shipping will be arranged by the cognizant DCMA office; the vendor is not responsible for shipping charges. The vendor shall supply the contracting office with the location from where the material will be shipping. Offerors must provide a delivery schedule with their proposal. Partial shipments are acceptable, however, shipments shall be as consolidated as po ssible to avoid items being lost in transit. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedul e. While price is more important than delivery, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, mu st be provided with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, ap plies to this acquisition.
