Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT MR. ROBERT H. PERRY, TEAM LEADER, AT 706-787-2093. EMAIL ADDRESS robert.perry@se.amedd.army.mil. This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Regions 3 & 4 which include all DoD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee are in the process of standardizing medical reprocessing services. This includes but is not limited to compres sion sleeves, pulse oximeter sensors, burs, blades, shavers, and opened but not used supplies. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items are eligible to participate in the standardization process. Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must be able to demonstrate a system of recovery and distribution, conform to current FDA guidelines on reprocessing, must provide customer support in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, must provide clinical support, education programs, and utilization reports, must provide companys return policy, must have an approved labeling and tracking method, must have approved testing methods, cleaning and sterilization processes, ISO certification, must provide companys distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, and must provide electronic and hard-copy of proposed pricing and compe titive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must establish ownership and warranty responsibility of products being redistributed to the facility.
