Description

NSN 4320-01-279-2321, Seal Assembly, Shaft, Spring Loaded. (The estimated annual quantity is 432 each). The proposed procurement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c )(1). Approved sources are Blackmer/A Dover Company (07524) and Quality Control Corp./Qualiseal (09456). This proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. The Government intends to issue a solicitation for a multi-year contract which may be obtained through the DIBBS website http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil. Requests for hard copies of this solicitation will not be accepted. . All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
