Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for Interface VT, Audio, NSN 5831-01-114-9554, Teledyne Technologies Inc., Part Number 8904500; Part of UH-60, Black Hawk Helicopter. The current source for this system is Teledyne Technologies In c., Hudson, NH 03051-0068 (Cage 22958). Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CC S-N-AA, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the current source, or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the sup plier can, in fact, supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units the current source supplies for this NSN. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perf orm when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Only units that have satisfactorily completed qualification testing for this application will be procured. Suppliers of alternate equipment can have their product qualification tested in accordance with the conditions at FAR Part 9.
