Description

NOTE: THIS SYNOPSIS WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED ON MARCH 17, 2004. NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THIS DOCUMENT. Furnish all the necessary supervision, personnel, supplies, and equipment to perform shelf stocking and custodial operations for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), Fort Belvoir Commissary located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, in accordance with the Government's Performance Work Statement (PWS). The solicitation includes a base period (1 September 2004 through 31 August 2005) and four one-year option periods. This procurement is a 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 561990 and the Business Size Standard is $6.0 MILLION. This solicitation and all attachments necessary to prepare a proposal will be available from FedBizOps on or about April 2, 2004, with a tentative closing date of on or about May 18, 2004. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for April 20, 2004. The actual date will be annotated on the DD Form 1707, Information to Offerors, when the solicitation and its attachments are posted. Offerors without the capability to download Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and/or Adobe PDF files, can request a paper copy of the solicitation and diskette.
