Description
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires lubricants, oil reprocessing services, waste oil disposal services, and related engineering support services. The requirements for supplies and services are divided into three major categories: Lubricant Supply, Oil Reprocessing, and Used/Waste Oil Removal. Supplies include diesel oils; marine turbine oils; gas turbine oils; reduction gear oils; hydraulic fluids; refrigerant compressor oils; air compressor oils; greases; and specialty products. Services include oil reprocessing; used/waste oil removal; program management; service calls; and training. Supplies and services shall be provided worldwide, for all United States Naval Ships of the Military Sealift Command and any other ships specifically designated by MSC during the term of this Contract. This is a Requirements contract with an anticipated performance period of a one-year base period commencing on 01 November 2004 with four one-year option periods. The Request For Proposals (RFP) will be released on or about 05 May 2004 with offers due on or about 16 June 2004. When released, the RFP will be available through the MSC web site at http://www.msc.navy.mil (then select CONTRACTS, then select ACTIVE REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS). All interested parties must email or fax the following information to MSC: Company Name, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Email Address, and Fax Number. This information shall be sent to Kevin.spillane@navy.mil or Susan.paolini@navy.mil. Parties that already have expressed interest are requested to confirm the above information to the same address. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by MSC.
