Description
This is a sole source requirement for Professional Program Management Support in support of the Advanced Alternative Power Technology Transformation Office (A2PT 2O) for a basic twelve-month ordering period with four one-year options. Place of Performance: Tasks shall be performed at a variety of Government and Contractor facilities. Firm fixed price contract to Cage Code 064X2, Prospective Technology Incorporated (PTI), 7413 Swan Point, Columbia MD 21045-5055. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 19 Apr 04. All potential offerors should contact the buyer, Cyndi S. Brinkley at 478-222-1893, for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. See Notes 22 and 26. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Contractor will be responsible for the program management of the advanced power programs for which it is tasked. This would include fiscal and technical oversight of contractors developing advanced power demonstrations, reporting to Air Force management on the status of those projects, prepare briefings for national symposiums, act as A2PT 2O liaison as required, assist the A2PT 2O in obtaining funding for advanced power projects by preparing contractual documents and providing technical input, provide strategic program guidance to A2PT 2O for the adaptation of advanced power concepts into Air Force ground support equipment. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The skills required to support this effort include Project Manager, Administrator, Senior Engineer, Engineer, Senior Analyst, Analyst, Environmental Engineer, Environmental Analyst, Research Program Manager, Senior Research Engineer, and Research Engineer.
