Description

Ammunition .9mm Luger 115 grain full metal jacket round nose match bullets, 115 grain jacketed hollow point match bullets, and .45 caliber 185 gr jacketed hollow point bullets for the United States Army Marksmanship Unit, (USAMU), Ft. Benning, GA 319 05. Base Year with two Option years. Ammunition must average at least 1200 feet per second (FPS) plus or minus 25 FPS, measured in ambient feet per second. Solicitation number W911SF-04-R-0007. Solicitation sets will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry Website (http://acquisition.army.mil) and the Fort Benning Website (http://www.benning.army.mil/doc/doc/Solicitations.htm) on or about 7 April 04. Offerors are reminded that you must be registered and currently active with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov). Ammunition bid samples of 100 rounds are required with each offer and ammunition not meeting accuracy standards will be rejected. A copy of the accuracy standards may be downloaded with the solicitation. This is a requirements contract and ammunition is to be ordered on an as needed basis. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business co ncerns. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency.
