- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District plans to enter into Remedial Action Contracts. Up to Four (4) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts may be awarded utilizing Multiple Award Preference to meet the Remedial Ac tion needs to support the North Atlantic Division Mission Areas excluding Europe District. This contract will utilize both Cost Reimbursement and Firm-Fixed Price task orders for construction and service activities at hazardous, toxic and radioactive loc ations with (HTRW) projects at various military and non-military locations within the North Atlantic Division mission area. The principal purpose of the IDIQ is remedial action, however it may require short-term operation and maintenance of government own ed/controlled facilities. There is a potential for two (2) Small Business contracts with maximum amount of $25 Million per contract, one (1) 8a contract with a maximum amount of $10 Million, and one (1) HubZone contract with a maximum amount of $5Million. These contracts will extend over a five-year period (base period one year with four option periods). The NAICS code for this Procurement is 562910, with a Size Standard of 500 employees. This solicitation is issued as a Small Business Set-Aside with po tential for up to two (2) awards; a 8(a) Set-Aside with potential for one (1) award; and a HUB-ZONE Set-Aside with potential for one (1) award. The estimated issue date for this request for proposal is on or about 13 April 2004. Contractors are notified t hat they may only receive one of the four awards. Prospective contractors and subcontractors are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet to receive the solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the Internet at http:// www.nae.usace.army.mil as well as the media by which the solicitation will be made available. Amendments, if any, to this solicitation will be made available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor fax requests will be accepted. Those regi stering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the New England District.
