Description

Renovation of office and breakrooms for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at Terminal A and Terminal C located at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), Raleigh, NC per specifications and drawings. The scope of work will be separate from Terminal A and Terminal C. Contractor will provide specifics on the paint and carpet to be used, to include color numbers and names, manufacturers and make, paint chips and carpet samples to TSA and the RDU Airport Authority for approval. Line items for both terminals may be deleted for budgetary reasons. Contractor will comply with all Federal, State, and local building regulations, laws, and ordnances for type of construction. The contractor will comply with Code of Federal Regulations for hazardous material, asbestos, or any substance requiring a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The contractor will obtain the required permits from the Wake County, North Carolina Building Department and provide copies to both TSA and the RDU Airport Authority. In the scope of work any construction, plumbing, addition or removal of walls or doors, and work on the kitchenette addition, the contractor will provide drawings to TSA and the RDU Airport Authority. In addition, the contractor will coordinate with the RDU Airport Authority for its requirements for insurance and construction. The estimated range is between $40,000.00 and $50,000.00. Small Businesses, 8(a) businesses, HUB-Zone, minority-owned, veteran owned, and women owned businesses are encouraged to request solicitation packages and submit proposal. The NAICS code is 236220. The solicitation will be issued April 13, 2004 and the proposal due date will be May 13, 2004.
