Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for stripping/prep/painting of 3 static display aircrafts located at the 180th Fighter Wing located at 2660 S Eber Road, Swanton, OH 43558-9645. Refer to quote number W91364-04-Q-0006 for this synopsis/solicitation. Awardee (prime contractor) for this requirement must be located within a 50 mile radius of this location to be considered responsive. Please contact Jody Zuelzke at 419-868-4237 or e- mail at jody.zuelzke@ohtole.ang.af.mil for the specifications for this requirement. The three static display aircraft are: F-84, F-100 and A-7. All individuals working on this requirement must pass a required security background check before being allow ed to enter this facility. All names, dates of birth, SSAN, and drivers license info to include license number and state issued must be submitted prior to start of this contract and only those that pass the required background check will be allowed to wor k on this base. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-20 and DCN 20040323. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses; with preference going to (in this order) 8(a), Hubzone, small disadvantaged, women owned, service disabled with price being the second factor. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offeror-Commercial Items (Jan 2004) is hereby incorporated by reference. FAR Clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003) and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jan 2004) are incorporated by reference. The following paragraphs apply to this solicitation and result ant contract 52.219-8(b)(5), 52.222-26(b)(12), 52.222-35(b)(13), 52.222-36(b)(14), 52.222-37(b)(15), 52.232-33(b)(24) and 52.247-64(b)(25)(i). DFARS Clause 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Appl icable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference, with additional DFAR Clauses included in this solicitation and any resultant contract as follows; 252.222-7001(b)(5), 252.225-7036(b)(15). A firm fixed price contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures. This contract does fall under the Service Contract Act and wages must be paid accordingly. Offers must be signed.
