Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation# W912R1-04-T-0073 is issued as a request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circul ar 2001-21. This requirement is issued as an unrestrictive procurement. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). CLIN 0001, Short-term rental of (12) each (7) passenger vans at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. The rental period is from 23 April 2004 through the 8th of May 2004. The vehicles shall be picked up from the vehicle rental site by the Government on the 23rd of April 2004, no later than 10:00am, and returned to the vehicle rental cite prior to the close of business on the 8th of May 2004; FAR 52.211-8 Time of Delivery. The vehicles shall be fully fueled prior to the time of pickup. All quotes shall include appropriate specifications on the offered vehicles. Upon receipt and evaluation of all offerors, award will be made to the offeror, which is most advantageous to the government.
