- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue RFP N00024-04-R-5343 on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company, 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, Arizona 85706 for the FY?05 STANDARD Missile (SM-2) U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. The RFP will require Raytheon to provide these missiles as All-Up-Rounds (AURs), which include the major sub-components (safe and arming device, warhead, rocket motor, and fuze booster) required for the AUR missile configuration. In addition, the RFP will require Raytheon to supply the MK-45 MOD 14 Target Detecting Devices (TDDs), if it has completed development and transitioned to production in time to meet the FY?05 delivery dates. Furthermore, the RFP includes U.S. requirements for an estimated 79 SM-2 BLOCK IIIB ORDALT kits and associated Service Life Extension Program hardware, an estimated 100 AN/DKT-71A(V) Telemetric Data Transmitting Sets (TDTS) and installation kits.
