CARLTON, CONTRACTING OFFICER, FAX 256-955-9310. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX4J0064AX, NSN: 1650-00-176-1249, PN: 205-062-635 (-11/-105), QUANTITY: 30 each, applicable to the UH-1 Airframe/Pwer Train Unit, with deliveries to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000l. This item is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., C age Code 97499; AMFUEL, Cage Code 05476 and Engineered Fabrics Corp., Cage Code 56221, because the part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, en gineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 30 each, 90 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 30 each, 60 DACA. Production Lead-time with Alternate II Clause is 30 each, 75 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek sourc e approval in order to compete for future solicitation by accessing the website ww.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicita tion; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acqui sition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26.
