Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Denver, Colorado, is requesting proposals from experienced qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services to complete the analysis of deer tissues for isotopic Plutonium, Americium and Uranium. The analysis of tissue shall involve sample preparation, isotopic analysis of the tissue residue and reporting the results. Scope of work include (1) 88 Plutonium analyses - 27 muscle, 27 liver, 6 kidney, 14 lung and 14 bone samples (2) 74 Americium analyses- 27 muscle, 27 liver, 6 kidney and 14 lung samples and (3) 74 Uranium analyses- 27 muscle, 27 liver, 6 kidney and 14 lung samples. All testing shall be made within ASTM or equal standards, Good Laboratory Practices, all offerors must include a copy of their firms methods and Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control procedures. Estimated performance period from award of contract is 75 calendar days for final report and data. The solicitation will be available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about March 19, 2004. Effective October 1, 2003, all contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registeration (CCR) website as an active vendor in order to be eligible for an award. The CCR website is www.ccr.gov.
