Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is soliciting a contractor to provide services as a Culinary Arts V.T. Instructor. The offeror must be a qualified teacher, certified by any State Department of Education and/or have three years experience in teaching a Culinary Arts Program. The resulting contract will be a base period, not to exceed five months, with two one year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of one hour sessions is estimated at 387 for the base period, depending upon the actual date of award. The solicitation will be available on or around March 22, 2004 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site hppt:/www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information concerning this solicitation, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The government may make award without discussions, therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
