The USAF will issue an RFP for a firm-fixed price, requirements contract with a one-year basic and 4 one-year option ordering periods for the Repair/Overhaul of F100PW229 augmentor parts. Solicitation will be issued electronically through the FEDBIZOPS website. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 7APR2004. Item 1: Output NSN: 2840-01-308-4465NZ; P/N: 4071142; Delivery: Tinker AFB, OK or as specified in individual order. Predominant Material: Nickel base alloy; Dimensions: approximately 21 inches longX4.5 inches wideX1.75 inches high. Form, Fit, Function: Together with balance and convergent segment and seals, for the nozzle throat area. Estimated quantities: Basic Year: 314 each, Option 1: 297 each, Option 2: 188 each, Option 3: 252 each, Option 4: 314 each. Quantity required per month is 26 each, 30 days after receipt of order or reparable. Quantity required per month is 157 each, 30 days after receipt of order or reparable. Anticipated award date: 7SEP2004. Total estimated contract value, including Options: $4,345,500.00. Contractor is to provide all labor, parts, services, and testing to accomplish overhaul and repair. Repair to be done IAW Statement of Work, Engineering Instructions and Quality Plan Requirements as attached to the solicitation. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved and qualified IAW the Qualification Requirements. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
