Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to complete building roofing system replacement of approximately 17,100 square feet including roof drains, flashing systems, roof accessories, tapered insulation and miscellaneous masonry cleaning along the building?s mechanical penthouse and cupola areas, and replacement of joint sealant along stone parapet. Contractor shall remove and replace roof and associated repairs as shown on the plans. New Work: Unless otherwise noted on drawings or specified, new work in extension of existing conditions shall correspond in all respects with that to which it connects, or to similar existing conditions, in materials, workmanship, and finish. Construction Period: 78 calendar days. This action is 100 percent set-aside for Certified HUBZone small business concerns. For this procurement, price, past performance, qualifications and technical approach are equal. 1. PRICE. In the Contractor?s own format, price proposal shall comprise an itemized price breakdown of their proposal in sufficient detail to permit a complete analysis of all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, disposal costs, overhead and profit, at both the prime and subcontracting levels and shall cover all work involved in the contract. PROVIDE WITH YOUR PROPOSAL. 2. PAST PERFORMANCE. Approximately, equal to price. Offer?s proposal shall address the following: (a) Installation - Contractor shall list a minimum of at least five (5) specific bituminous membrane roofing construction projects completed in the past five (5) years that are similar in nature, providing references to include owner?s name, phone number, Roofing system manufacturer used, general scope of work, quality of work and total cost of project. Provide information on any problems encountered on the identified contracts and the corrective actions your company took in resolving issues incurred. PROVIDE WITH YOUR PROPOSAL. (b) Subcontractors ? Name of any subcontractors to be used with experience and references as requested above. 3. Specialized Experience BITUMINOUS MEMBRANE ROOFING experience is required with at least 1 of the manufacturers listed in Specification, Section 07552 Certification is required. Provide key personnel resumes, and qualification in the ROOFING application. PROVIDE WITH YOUR PROPOSAL. 4. TECHNICAL APPROACH. Offeror?s proposal shall address the ability to adequately meet the requirements specified and provide the names of responsible key personnel who will be part of the construction team. PROVIDE WITH YOUR PROPOSAL Estimated cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 dollars. NAIC code is 238160 with a three-year average annual receipt of $12 million. Solicitation packages, including specifications and drawings will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about 4/01/04. Proposals are due on or about 05/03/04. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. In order to obtain a copy of the solicitation, offeror?s must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website. To register, refer to the CCR internet address http://ww.ccr.gov. One of the Partner Programs in the ccr website is FedTeDs. In order to view the specifications and drawings for this solicitation, you must register in FedTeDs. The registration process that FedTeDs utilizes requires each Vendor/Contractor provide an MPIN for their company in their CCR registration. The MPIN is a personal code. Your CCR POC is the only person with access to your company?s active registration. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any information or documents in the special notices, the solicitation and amendments, if any.
