****ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED To, PAMELA MYRES, Contracting Officer or Debra Henderson, Contract Specialist, fax 256-876-5311, AMSAM-AC-LS-C, NSN: 3040-01-117-7355; P/N:145CS360-2, PRON AX4C0350A X, NOUN: CONNECTING LINK, RIG; Quantity: 48 each , applicable to BK: CH-47. Production leadtime with First Article (FA) is 48 each 480 days after contract award; without FA is 320 days and with alternate II is 400 days with delivery to Texarkana, TX 75507 -5000. This item is restricted to THE BOEING COMPANY, Cage Code 77272 and Western Sky Industries, Cage Code 34742, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existin g unique design capability, engineering skills, and the manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future sol icitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an e stimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
