Description
This solicitation is to establish a BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) for a period of one year from the date of award. 1. NSN 8415-00-134-8785 GLOVES, CHEMICAL AND OIL PROTECTIVE: Synthetic overall, 15 mil, unlined, non-slip grip, curved fingers, flat cuff, 13.0 inches long. Size 9. The gloves shall be MAPA Part No. 479419. Unit package shall be one package(PG) of 12 pairs of gloves. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE: The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this purchase description, conform to the producer?s own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY: The item(s) shall be packaged and packed to afford adequate protection against physical damage during shipment from the supplier to the first receiving activity. The pack shall comply with the rules and regulations applicable to the mode of transportation. The package shall be the same as that normally provided by the supplier. In the event a pallet or skid is used for shipping, the following notice shall apply: NOTICE: Due to the spread of oak wilt disease, all lumber used inside or outside a shipment must be BARK FREE. UNITIZATION OF PALLET LOAD: The palletized load shall be unitized and secured to the pallet to insure that the load arrives intact. MARKING: Shipments to GSA and other civilian agencies shall be marked in accordance with FED-STD-123. Shipments to the Department of Defense (DOD) shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. NOTICE OF SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIPMENT TO EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES: Per Clause D-FSS-468, non-manufactured wood pallets and other non-manufactured wood package material used in shipments destined for ultimate delivery to or through a European Union (EU) country shall comply with the Emergency Measures (2001/219/EC) adopted by the Commission of the European Communities (CEC). Additionally, shipments delivered to DoD distribution facilities or freight consolidation points for eventual delivery to or through EU countries shall comply with DLA PROCLTR 02-17. NSN 8465-01-456-7873 BACKPACK: The backpack shall have the following characteristics: The backpack shall be made of lightweight 1000 denier black Dupont Cordura nylon treated with a water repellent finish, and shall have a leather base with nylon backing to prevent moisture penetration. The backpack shall be 19 inches high by 13 inches wide by 5-3/4 inches, nominal. The backpack shall close with a hooded, heavy-duty dual direction nylon zipper. The backpack shall have a padded back support, adjustable heavy padded shoulder straps contoured for balance and stability and, organizer pocket closed with a nylon zipper, two large mesh pockets (one pocket on each side), and a US Army logo.
