- Description
- QUESTIONS & ANSWERS The following questions have been submitted by various vendors: Q. Will these classes be conducted M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for 4 consecutive weeks between 10 May 2004 to 9 Jul 2004? A. No, we'll schedule one 5 day class per month. Q. Does the training provider have to be local or in the state of California? A. The training must be conducted at our facilities on Coast Guard Island. Test retake training facilities must be in the San Francisco Bay Area. Q. Would like clarification on the "Retakes up to 1 year" , and the prep tests needed for 2276, 2272, and 2400. A. If a student fails one of the tests, we want to be able to send them to retake the training for up to a year until they pass. Q. Is MOC (Microsoft Official Curriculum) required? A. No. We have two goals for the training. We want people to be able to do their jobs supporting Windows 2003 servers and we want them to be prepared to take the certification exams. Q. Would you like to have the cost of certification exams included in the pricing? A. No. Q. Will it be the same 12 students in all 4 classes? A. We will provide training to 36 students, 12 at a time. We want to give them all 4 MCSA prep classes. Q. If not, how can we be assured that each student will meet the pre-req requirements prior to attend class? A. We can't provide you that assurance. Our students are all professional system administrators, at various skill levels. Most have attended Coast Guard IT "C" school. Q. Are all of the students housed there in CA? Or, will they be attending from all over the US? A. All of the classes must be given at the Coast Guard Electronic Systems Support Unit Alameda facilities. Most of the students are within commute distance to our facilities. We will arrange travel and accommodations for 2 remote students to attend in Alameda.----------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
